How to lean up fuel on a solex 30 pict 3 carb
Had loads of issues with my 16sp engine this last few weeks, running really rough, today i did the valves which helped, checked all HT leads and dizzy cap, all exhaust and manifold nuts and bolts, took out the recently new plugs and all are black suited, all cleaned and put back and engine running ok, as its running rich i have no idea how to lean up the fuel ??
Help appreciated

Hi ya Ron,
This is what you need http://www.vw-resource.com/30PICT2.html remember always favour richer over leaner, the latter can cause damage.
Forum always gets very quiet over winter doesnt help that their are so few of us these days.
Cheers

Thanks for the info Daz,,,Yes Rob and Dave are a wealth of knowledge and i do check them out from time to time, will just tweak the air fuel a tad and not too lean, only need the thing sorted for this weekend as we are off to the Glastonbury Carnival, then over the winter i hope to get the new engine in.
Hope all good and see you at the new place for club meet,
Thanks again
Ron
