Elephant Ear Door Pins Query ?

Anybody know what the standard size elephant ear door pin size is, have seen them listed as 8mm and 8.5mm are they both oversized or is the 8mm standard, I need to change the one on the drivers door of the junkyard as the door is starting to drop.

From memory the std size is 8mm some places do two oversizes 8.5mm and 9mm. If they are really loose you may need to go up a couple of sizes. Funny enough I just took mine out yesterday and repainted them as they were starting to rust badly, had to jack the bus up and use the buses weight to force the bugger out. Didn't measure them but pretty sure they are 8mm.
