Probably, batteries don't like being left to discharge completely only thing is to try it and you may be lucky and it might recover. Battery wise I would generally go for the biggest cheapest one with the right terminals that will fit. Mind you im still using an old bettle battery that must 7+ yrs old by now.

If you know of anyone with a heavy duty charger then try and borrow it, this will bring your battery back to life i think, the chargers we buy are ok for trickle charge if the battery has recently gone flat, leave it another day or 2 and maybe it will be ok

As owen said batteries don't really like being totally discharged you could try swapping it with the battery in your BMW jump start it, if the alternator in that doesn't charge it then bin it.

Batteries
Thanks for the offers and advice, after charging both starter and leisure on trickle charge, i then stuck them on a normal car charge and after 1/2 hour they were both fizzing and bubbling abit, whether they hold thier charge or not time will tell.
Thanks
