The ASSOCIATION OF BRITISH VW CLUBS, in association with Adrian Flux Insurance Services, and supported by Cordwallis, Hawthorns and VW Heritage, welcomes all enthusiasts of VW and its associated marques, to VW EXPO 2016 @ STONOR Park, the 32nd meeting at this venue.
The show gates will be open between 9.00 am and 4.30 pm and there will again be a single charge for entry to VW Expo and the Stately Home and Gardens (which open at 1:30pm) of £11.00 per adult, whilst children under 16 get in for free. Refreshments and toilet facilities will be available as usual.

Stonor Park has been the home of the Stonor family for over 800 years, the house being built around 1190. It contains many items of rare furniture and paintings and will be open on the Sunday afternoon by showing your admission ticket, as entry to the house is included in the ticket price. The grounds are situated along the B480, to the north of Henley on Thames and are within easy reach of the M4 & M40 motorways. The postcode for Stonor Park is RG9 6HF.

If any of you are happy to be on stand by to pop on the old high viz and help Daz and I with some marshalling of campers into place and generally keep an eye on thing Saturday, please let us know. Don't think our group is needed Sunday at all, other than maybe First thing, but we'll let you know.

We've got a club stand for Sunday. Not sure how much room but would want to pop 3 or 4 vehicles on display. If anyone has bits to sell that works well too, Saturday or Sunday on club stand.

More good news for Stonor Park camping:

On Saturday afternoon / early evening we (AK) will be holding a club bbq on 'the well used big club oil drum bbq'. This will be a free bbq for all of you club members with butchers meat pack selection of chicken breast, drumsticks, burgers and sausage. There will also be potato salad, rolls and salad stuff (I'm told).

Please feel free to bring nibbles for bbq or later but please do NOT bring a main meal. And for you veggies if you want to bring anything to put on the barbie, please feel free.

Looking forward to it all and the weekend in general. And particular thanks to Linda, Helen, Lisa, Owen and Daz for organising it.
