New Forest Meet
Was thinking of over summer months, instead of having a Sunday meet at Weyhill was to organise a cruize down to The New Forest to meet up with the New Forest Dub club, who meet up on a Sunday too at a local watering hole. It would be great to meet up with fellow dubbers for a chat over a drink, lunch, What do you think, is there any interest or not, just thought it would be different for a change, lets hear your thoughts on this , positive or not. Sounds good to me, depends on the rest of the club also! But how does going down on the Saturday day time and find a camp site, play a few games, Have a few beers, and then go to the meet Sunday?

Camp out sounds cracking idea, only thing I would say about club meets is the good thing about having it at a static venue it allows new or potential new members to come and meet up with us or come along and see us at our worst so would say keep them separate if we can.

Sound's good to us. Looks like they meet the first Sunday of the month so won't clash with our normal meet if any new members wish to join us at the Weyhill Fair.

Cruize down to meet up with New Forest Dubbers
Been in contact and made a few enquiries and New Forest Dub Club are meeting up in the Forest on Sunday 5th August for their monthly meet, could we have a list of who might be able to go down as if not many want to then we can knock it on the head.
Could meet up at The Weyhill and leave around 12.30.
Regards a AK campout, good idea Steve,we have had them in the past but last year fizzled out a bit due to lack of interest, perhaps the bank holiday weekend 25,26,27 August, Roundhill campsite in the forest is good, plenty of space there but with the forest sites need to book well in advance as they get booked up.

Re: New Forest Meet
I was thinking making the camp out and the new forest club meet the same weekend so go down to the forest early Saturday 4th, stay over that night and play some games have some drinks and then go onto the meet on the Sunday? What does everyone else think?
I'm certainly up for whatever though be it making it all into one weekend or making it to separate weekends!
Count us in for the meet (if no shows clash which I don't think they do?)
Cheers

Thinking might be better to have them seperate as what would happen is, get up Sunday morning and you will find people wanting to head home early and not bothering.
Erna just my thoughts.

Anderwood, New Forest. Sunday 5th August.
Can we have a list up for those who are going, as its only 2 weeks away, if we go we could leave for 12.30- 1.00 at the Weyhill Pub,
The New Forest Dub club are meeting up at Anderwood in the forest where everyone is having a barby, so if you want bring along food, up to you.

New Forest Meet
Hi All,
We'd have loved to go but we are planning to go to Cornwall this weekend to visit family.
We are hoping to go in the Bus if Pete at Martins can sort out the timing (we'll know tomorrow) and I'm sure it will be ok.
It may be a lot to ask but after looking at the amount were planning to take with us, has anyone a small 2 bow roof rack we can borrow/loan/rent?
Many thanks
Simon.

I am on call this weekend so wont be able to make it, I know what you mean about the roof rack after having a fully loaded van for BVF we are thinking we might need a small roof rack, so will be looking out for one soon . . . couldn't believe how much extra stuff we had to carry for someone so little.
