This is for the low brigade, namely Kev, Liam and anyone else who knows. I want to bring the front of the bus up a bit, say inch or two and wondered every notch on the adjuster what is the distance you are making, also Kev what is the procedure of doing this as you have done it me thinks. David

Long time since I played around with adjusters but usually you just undo the hex nut or bolt depending on adjuster and move it up or down which ever way you want to go . . . then do it up, no idea the distance as they are all different and most people do it by eye.

Yep just like that. Not sure how much each notch is though and you may also need to disconnect your shock absorbers too

Adjuster, Front Beam. Empty beam adjustment

Post by robby Mon Jun 18 2012, 22:18

hi dave,it may pay you to email paul whisk, as i know he has a fare bit of knowledge with beam adjusters, especially the creative weed eater type.we fitted them on his old red and white samba and my brothers old bus.i think from memory 1 notch equals 2" approx, or i could be wrong.it would be easier to do if you had a pit or veichle lift with a jack, which jacked off the main chassie of the bus as doing it under a lowered bus on the ground could be difficult and a bit dangerous, incase it dropped unexpectedly.pauls email address is in the links section.regards robby and kate.Smile
