Steven and jems 69 deluxe microbus
As you may all know the bug is sold awaiting collection!
Me and Jem have been and put deposit down on a 1969 deluxe microbus, shipped in from california 2 years ago!
It's gonna have 12 months MOT and obviously tax. The underside is still in OG paint and is absolutely rock solid!
Engine is brand new 50 miles ago and drives really nice!
It's lowered slightly and that's the way it'll probably stay
Gonna need a bit of work to the interior but it's all doable over time, so jems getting the sewing kit out and me and the old man are breaking out the saws and screws to put a bed together
Hope you all like and we can't wait to get out motoring in it! Hopefully have it for club meet on the 17th!

Well done looks like you have got a good one there. looks quite cool with its present stance. Personally I think that you can do alot more with early bays than splits look forward to seeing it.

Roof racks
Steve your bus would look great with a 3 bow and a 2 bow on the top, Think Keith is selling his shortly as he is making his own, you could get them at a very reasonable price, just an idea for you but would look so cool mate.

Oh yes it would ?
Liam
Now your working in the HOTRODS i have an 5" PRO-COMP PRO-STOCK TACH on my bus but would like to sell it on as its for big engine hotrods, its model number is 6832 and is like new, cost £474, if you know anyone at your new workplace who would like to buy this then bargain price £200, also there is a pair of smaller matching guages with oil temp and Turbo boost, i would like to sell them as they clutter up the dash on my bus.
Thanks mate
Ron;)

I know its only the two of you but since we have had our rack its been great having more room inside instead of being cluttered up with kit,Ronnieboy59 wrote:Steve your bus would look great with a 3 bow and a 2 bow on the top, Think Keith is selling his shortly as he is making his own, you could get them at a very reasonable price, just an idea for you but would look so cool mate.

I popped round today for a sneaky look in the bus but saw no evidence, so dont know if you are in possesion of it yet, looks a tidy bay and in no doubt it will look even better after you have had it a while. David

Been busy over the weekend
Evening all,
Been really busy on the bus over the weekend and the past few evenings!
Got the bed made and all sorted, sorted The matress an also got the front and back deals fitted to stop it leaking water!!
Here's some photos
Bed making
The old man hard at work!
As a bed
As a seat
Has storage under the seat like a R&R bed
Seat back/ bed bottom
New seals. Payed someone who woks for national windscreens to come and fit the front and rear ones so I can see how it's done ten I'll give the rest a go myself! Nothing too scary under the front screen just a bit of surface rust! No holes! He put some anti corrosive paint on their before fittin the new seal as well
Things to do next!
Fit new door seals
Fix new quarter light catches so they actually shut!
That's all for now
