Hmm may brave the workshop tomorrow see if I can some more work done on my van bbrrrrr, Junkyard is going to need some work at some point too .....

Going down tomorro dide if your going down. Cant wait to see rons bus! Obviosly the bous have a lot to do in 2012 liads of work on the split and weve got an engine and gearbox change and some 3 inch dropped springplates to do to kevs bug and the split needs lots of welding!

Dave&Erna have you got a crate from the north yet?

Been to see Paul W & dropped V-bus off there for him to look at replacing our doors & some remedial work on the gear box as it's very stiff changing gear since we came back from the Europe trip.

Yep went down there but it was freezing, didint get that much done really mostly cutting and grinding but hey ho

Justin has awoken from his winter hibernation so hoping to go up there in February and finally get some more done on the van. Been really unhappy with the progress but hey ho. Managed to get myself a second hand clarke 135te welder so we will be over stocked with them at workshop . Bought a cheap heater from the range too to keep the chill off.

The beetle is back in the road for another year!! Me and pat (dads mate) managed to do two of the welding bits but the third was just a right pain so of to Paul Wisk it went!
He put it through a MOT and it also failed on a bit on the sill that he also welded! So hes done two bits of welding undersealed the parts we welded, lowered the rear a spline, changed some ball joint rubbers and also got it MOT'd all in a day! Now that's productive!

Well worth it!!

Daz, looks like the Panel might be progressing, better weather coming soon, not so daunting heading down the workshop, dont know about you but i hate going in the garage when its cold and blowing.
Hope to get out and about alot this year, away for weekends, even if its local.
