Insurance :-s
Hey all just a quick one who is everyone insured with? My renewal has just come and it has gone up by about £120?? The new quote is £530 TPF&T limited to 3000miles (not to worried about that! ;-) )
Does this sound like a normal price bearing I mind I'm only 19?

Ok mate will have to give them a ring about it.
Last years price was the cheapest i could find it but just not sure why it's gone up so much this year? Alot of company's won't look at me on a limited mileage policy/classic policy because of my age and on a normal policy the prices are rediculoisly expensive!
Hey ho if I can't find it any cheaper I suppose il just have to pay it!

Average age of a combat soldier is n-n-n-n-nineteen! So you are at a risky age.
I'm with Lancaster £135 per year. It went up £30 when I moved to Bournemouth.

Re: Insurance :-s
I'm insured with Just Kampers as they have great service, breakdown cover (home, recovery and abroad), European driving cover as standard, £2000 contents insurance (campervan) and guaranteed valuation.
I pay something like £300 quid fully comp including Christine as named driver and cover for me to commute to work. Limited to 5,000miles but can extend to 7,500 for an admin fee at any point.
Not very relevant as it’s a bus and I ain't a teenager any more…
But worth giving Just Kampers a call as they are fairly helpful and friendly. I think I got a cheaper quote from Adrian Flux last year but it didn’t include home breakdown or contents insurance.

Re: Insurance :-s
be aware that lots of brands are underwritten by the same insurers so you will end up getting the same quote.
Don't know which brands are part of the same group.
Insurance in general has increased quite a bit recently but for a 19year old it should be going down rather than up. Unless you have claimed, crashed or collected points...

Re: Insurance :-s
Volksworld, Just kampers etc are all HIC (herts insurance) so you may well ring them directly just dont say you are already insured with Adrian Flux as they own HIC but run it as a separate enterprise.
Dont forget you get discount with Adrian Flux, 2 Gether Insurance and Chris Knott the links are on the left. I am with Adrian Flux, Lisa is with 2 Gether Insurance, it always pays to shop around and if you mention you are a club member to most insurance companies they will give you a discount.

Re: Insurance :-s
I'm with HIC and pay about £120 a year with an agreed value - and that was without any no claims as it's a 2nd vehicle.
