Insurance Schemes Empty Insurance Schemes

Post by Admin Tue Feb 15 2011, 09:38

A cautionary warning if you have club discounted motor insurance you make a claim and are no longer a member, there have been instances of insurance companies asking for proof of club membership and rejecting claims when the individuals have been unable to prove they are a club member any longer.

You can check if a vehicle is insured here: http://ownvehicle.askmid.com/askmid.aspx

We have three club schemes 2Gether, Adrian Flux and Chris Knott all provide discounted insurance to club members there links are to the left of the forum. Your experiences and any information with these organisations or anybody else you may be using is welcome to help others decide. It is always worth asking for a club discount with any insurer you approach many organisations just require a letter from us proving your membership which we are happy to do for club members.

Many thanks
