MOT time...

Half testing to check whether everything works for me, half recovering from a bus adventure in the gale force winds on Saturday.

Had booked Big Red for his MOT on Sat am and managed not to blow away while driving there. Unfortunately, as I arrived at the garage the armature on the points stuck open and wouldn't follow the dissy cam so the engine stalled and wouldn’t restart on the forecourt. Ooops. Managed to free the arm, use a bit of water displacing lube and reset the points on the windy forecourt while the MOT bloke was tapping his clipboard….

Restarted first time, great tickover, running smooth. Big Red flew through his MOT with no advisories. Bring on the summer…

3 music festivals booked, a couple of car shows and a 2 week road trip to France planned for July.
