Saturday's Canoe Trip

Everyone needs to be ready to go by 10:15

We will transport you all 2 miles upstream where the canoes will be waiting at our new private Launch point.
Once everyone is assembled I will give you all a safety briefing and members of my staff will help you into your canoes.
Everyone will have a quick practice around and then we will head off back towards the campsite in Symonds Yat East.

We will shortly pass the campsite and approach the Symonds Yat Rapids (these are grade 2 so not scary or big so don't panic)
Members of my staff will watch everyone through the rapids and are there to help if needed.

I will also be on the water with you to help anyone as will Bob Hall from Concept Racing (he is a very skilled and accomplished paddler)

After the rapids we can all remove our helmets and carry on towards Monmouth. We will have a rest stop Just after Biblins Suspension Bridge.
And then carry on towards our finish point of Monmouth.

When we get to Monmouth we will lift the canoes out of the water and load our trailers and drive back to the Campsite.
Collection time from Monmouth should be at 2:30-3:00 PM.

*Families with young children please select your canoes to be sparred*
