Bye Bye Dillon Empty Bye Bye Dillon

Post by Dillon Mon Apr 22 2013, 20:11

We came to the decision last week that due to Keith's declining health it was time for us to say goodbye to Dillon. We had quite a bit of interest and sold him to a lad that came to view him yesterday. So here he is on a trailer (for once not because he's broken down!) on his way to his new home.

We still plan to join you for camping when Keith feels well enough and will definately be joining you at the Weyhill fair for the regular meets. We just wanted to say a huge thankyou to all of you for your for your help with the 'downs' and we've enjoyed the many 'ups' that come with owning a VW.

Poor you guys saying good bye to an old friend Sad.......Dillon was such a lovely looking bus and you had spent so much time working on him. Where is his new home going to be?
Of course we will keep in touch and it would be great to see you as per usual when you feel up to it. And if you do want to go camping and need awnings / cookers etc just let us know.

Good to see you last night Keith, Its a pity about Dillon but I think you have done the right thing given the circumstances its a lot of money tied up in him, especially if its standing idle, and gives you a chance to work on the rest of the fleet when you feel up to it
all the best Owen

Jesus always the opportunist eh!

I guess as long as you were happy with what you got for him that's all that matters does look a little odd up against all those lotus and caterhams though Laughing http://www.uksportscars.com/
