1 window notlux
Right after a mega long day yesterday picked up the dlx! Thanks to my uncle John for towing it for me! Got up at 430am hitched up the trailer got the van ready and set off on the 200 mile trip to glossop!
Got there fine and picked up the bus
Stopped for lunch at a lovely burger van just outside manchester
Stopped at the services on the m6
Finally made it to its new home after a very long drive!
Wont be any updates for at least a week (?!?!) as working late and will be at big bang next weekend but will try and get some more pics for you soon

Great pics Liam. Apart from you being pleased it's 2 years older than you initially thought. Does it look the same as the pics you bought it from?
Will be watching this thread with great interest!

Re: 1 window notlux
done a little bit today between grinding on the beige bitch. not much just emptied the crap out of it gave it a sweep out, took a what little interior panels are there out and just had a look around it! its very rusty! had to break in to the drivers door because the latch was seiezed in the closed position! also spent some time freeing up the door hinges so they opend and closed a bit better. not much but its a start!

Re: 1 window notlux
Well done for getting it over, it looked rather lonely on the trailer, but as least he / she's got company now in the workshop. Hope you enjoy working on it. Keep us updated & we will dig out our box of spares.
Helen
Just noticed that your title says 'winow' should call it krusty winow!

Love the van dude. I guess this means you'll be getting a nice tan this summer from your welding torch

Re: 1 window notlux
Right europes done now so a mini update ( and it is mini! )
Started cleaning the horrible algi type stuff off the roof to see whats under it
Before (you can see the patch where i started at the front offside)
After
Didnt get the whole thing done as i only had a polishing cloth and was using hand cleaner and there was a lot of people down the yard so had about 50 conversations with random people, mostly starting with "you got a lot of work there boy" and finishing in "what do you mean your not going to paint it" haha
Soon got bored of this so we fitted the new wheels to dannys caddylac (pics needed dude!) and did a big burnout in the granada.
Went down a few days later and did a lot of cutting now looks like this awaiting a big box from schofields.
Will hopefully get down there on sat to do a bit feel free to come and laugh and distract me!

Wow. Think I'll be up for having a peek on Sat I'll give you a bell.
I'm amazed you've taken that floor apart with just a screwdriver

Re: 1 window notlux
Went dowmn today and had a tidy up and to get some work done on the delux microplow but found my uncle had borrowed my grinder so couldnt do the bits i wanted so forced the one remaining window out of the siezed frame then got my camberg found, siezed delux hornpush stripped and freed off then fitted it to the wheel to see what it was like and was quite chuffed!
Hopefully better updates tomorrow
