Will see if I can find any more pictures but it was the same as this one, not anywhere near that condition though.

Thanks Rob, no idea I have been keeping I eye out but never seen it since, was originally sold to a air hostess if I remember rightly. Shame as my brother put a complete new floor in it will have to see if he still has the pictures. The blue and cream were ford colours a little different with the paint other way round.

Looks lovely that Daz. I've asked you before but can't remember your reply - how many classic vw's have you owned?

Not that many really probably would have owned more if I never joined up, from memory;

74 beetle (before tax exempt existed) was my first.
Baja (rusted itself away).
Mk1 Golf
73 bay which my brother still owns.
Type 3 Squareback
Wizard Roadster
Mk2 16v Golf GTI
65 Split Devon
64 Split Firetruck
65 Samba Archie
and of course we still have Junkyard 66 too.

I had the Squareback & Wizard when I was still in the forces but it wasnt very practical hence buying the Mk2 Golf, there were two more of us in my unit with aircooled VW's at the time too.
